Frequently Asked Questions on the survey

This page includes FAQs on the PeerRank survey user experience. Please click here for more general questions on the project.

Which of my publications show up in my “career” on the PeerRank platform?

The career features the publications that are considered for the survey, that is:

  • at most 5 publications
  • from scientific journals or conferences
  • provided with a DOI
  • published no more than 10 years ago
  • on separate outlets (e.g. if more than one article appeared on the same journal, only the most recent is considered)
  • included in the Scopus database (for technical reasons only).
What can I do if my career info is incomplete/wrong?

In general, we encourage you to correct any misattributions directly in the Scopus database. After a few days, the correction will be reflected on the PeerRank platform.

This said, if an article of yours is missing that you think should appear (e.g. on a scientific journal not indexed by Scopus), you are welcome to add it by indicating its DOI after clicking on the “Add DOI” button. Manually added articles are considered, but an automatic screening procedure is run at the aggregation stage to ensure that the user adding them is indeed an author.
